Want to experience She Has a Name in action? Join a volunteer trip! Trips usually consist of two weeks visiting with girls in the program, getting to know the area they are from, learning the culture and traditions of the SHAN girls, and overall, experiencing Kenya! Target Dates: July 29–31 to August 7–9 (flex window) -
Trip Cost: $2,650 ($1000 deposit due March 1st)

OVERALL MISSION FOR THIS TRIP: To strengthen relationships, invest in spiritual and leadership development through a family/staff retreat for discipleship, relationship-building, staff care, and training for families connected to the organization; a community project developed by a program graduate; a garden project on our land; and other potential projects as time permits.

Timeline of the trip
Team Meeting
After you commit to a trip and we have our final count we will hold a team meeting. (In person and virtual)
ETA Purchase
About 7-10 days before we leave we will hold a meeting to purchase the teams electronic travelor's allowances. This can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Packing Party
We will all get together before we leave and organize our bags. Often times we bring extra items for the girls, staff, and families
Trip

Post Trip Debrief Meeting
We will hold a meeting where we can chat about any insights gained from the trip and overall thoughts.
